General Requirements

1. UTME Candidates
   • Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 16 years old by the 31st of October of the admission year.
   • UTME Score: A minimum score of 140 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is required.
   • O’Level Results: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. Accepted O’Level examinations include WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.
   • Subject Combination: Candidates must ensure that their UTME subject combination aligns with the requirements of their chosen course.
2. Direct Entry Candidates
   • Qualification: Candidates must possess a minimum of two Advanced Level passes in relevant subjects in addition to the general O’Level requirements. Acceptable qualifications include GCE A’ Level, IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent.
   • Diploma Holders: Applicants with National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized institutions can apply, provided they meet the specific departmental requirements.
   • NCE Holders: Candidates with a National Certificate in Education (NCE) from a recognized college are also eligible.
