WAEC made special provisions for 109,115 candidates with varying degrees of special needs.

This group included 145 visually challenged candidates, 473 with impaired hearing, 44 with spastic-cum-mental challenges, and 38 physically challenged candidates.

WAEC ensured these candidates were adequately catered to during the examination process.

To check your WAEC results, you’ll need a Result Checker PIN and Serial Number. These details are typically found on the Smart Identity Card used during the exam.

    • Look for the Result Checker PIN and Serial Number on the Smart Identity Card provided during the exam.
  2. Purchase a New PIN Online
    • If you can’t find your PIN or have exceeded the number of checks, you can buy a new one online for N4,250.
  3. Steps to Purchase the PIN
    • Visit the WAEC Request Management System portal at WAEC Request Management System.
    • Your Transaction Reference Number will be generated automatically.
    • Under “Select a Request Type,” choose “Request For Service.”
    • Under “Select a Request,” pick “Sale of WAEC Direct Result Checker.”
    • Enter your Name, Phone Number, and Email Address in the required fields.
    • Click “Proceed to Online Payment” to make your payment and get your WAEC result checker PIN.

How to Check Your WAEC Result Online

Candidates can check their results online by visiting the WAEC official results checker website, WAEC Direct. The steps are simple:

  1. Enter your 10-digit examination number.

  3. Select the type of examination.
  4. Enter the e-PIN voucher number.
  5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the e-PIN.
  6. Click on “Check Result”.

How to Check your WAEC Result with SMS

Candidates can also check their results via SMS:

  1. Type WAECExamNoPIN*ExamYear on your mobile device without any spaces.
  2. Send to 32327.
  3. Receive an instant message with your WAEC statement of result.
